PERCY SLEDGE TO PERFORM ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA SHOW

Percy Sledge, the legendary soul singer labeled ‘The Golden Voice of Soul’ and ‘The King of Slow Soul’   appeared on the ABC television show ‘Good Morning America’ on Monday, March 14, 2005. He was accompanied by his dynamic band ‘Sunset Drive’. Percy  performed two songs on the show – his signature song of worldwide fame ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’, and a selection from his new CD on Velvet Steamroller Records. Among the other hits of Percy Sledge are ‘Take Time to Know Her’, ‘Warm And Tender Love’, ‘It Tears Me Up’, ‘Cover Me’, and ‘At The Dark End Of The Street’.

PERCY SLEDGE WAS INDUCTED INTO THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

Percy Sledge was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame on Monday, March 14, 2005. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is located in Cleveland, Ohio, and the induction ceremony will be held in New York City at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
